Where OSB shows up versus where it doesn't

Structural sheathing — roof decking, wall sheathing, subflooring — is the overwhelming majority use for OSB, and a shop-furniture project built from the species and joinery data on this site will rarely call for it directly. Where it does show up in a furniture-adjacent context is shop infrastructure: workbench tops and torsion-box cores that need a flat, stiff, inexpensive substrate and don't need OSB's rough strand-pattern face to look good, since it'll be covered by a hardboard or plywood skin anyway.

This is worth knowing if OSB is being used anywhere it might see repeated wetting (an unheated shop building, for instance) rather than a single construction-phase exposure.
