Interior furniture: the tightest target

Fine interior furniture built for a heated, air-conditioned home should be built at or very close to that home's expected indoor equilibrium moisture content — commonly in the 6–10% range across most of the continental US once heating and cooling are both accounted for, narrower than the raw regional range because furniture sits in the most climate-controlled part of a building, not in a garage or a mudroom.
